I am a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with clinical expertise in bleeding and platelet disorders, hemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell disease and thalassemia, hemolytic anemias, iron deficiency, menorrhagia, aplastic anemia and other bone marrow failure syndromes, hemangiomas, survivorship care, late effects of chemotherapy and leukemia (esp ALL/CML). I earned my medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my internship and residency at Maimonides Infants and Children’s Hospital of Brooklyn, NY. I went on to complete my fellowship training at the Roswell Park Oishei Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Program in Buffalo, NY.
Anemia, red blood cell disorders and hemoglobinopathies, platelet disorders, bleeding disorders, hemostasis and thrombosis, menorrhagia, vascular anomalies, bone marrow failure, variety of oncologic conditions with a special interest in childhood leukemia, osteosarcoma and Wilms tumor, survivorship and late effects of chemotherapy
