Béga Murray, PhD
Postdoctoral Associate
bega.murray@rutgers.edu
Béga completed her PhD through a graduate partnership program between Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) at the National Institutes of Health, USA. Her PhD and early postdoctoral training at the NCI focused on the epigenetic regulation of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST). In the Zhang lab, Béga’s research focuses on transcriptional regulatory processes and oncogenic activation involved in the malignant transformation of benign plexiform neurofibromas to MPNST.
