American Cancer Society: Patient Programs and Services - The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. At this site, you can find an online magazine for cancer survivors, information about financial planning workshops, as well as information about housing for those receiving treatment far from home. 

ARCH National Respite Network and Resource Center - ARCH stands for Access to Respite Care and Help and their website provides information on respite services throughout the United States.

Cancer Hope Network - This organization provides free and confidential one-on-one support to cancer patients and their families. This is accomplished by matching cancer patients and/or family members with trained volunteers who have themselves undergone and recovered from a similar cancer experience. 

CancerCare - CancerCare is a national nonprofit organization that provides free, professional support services for anyone affected by cancer. Here you can find services by cancer type or register for an informative telephone education workshop. CancerCare also offers financial assistance for some types of costs.

Cancer Support Community - The Cancer Support Community is an international non-profit dedicated to providing support, education and hope to people affected by cancer. 

Cleaning for a Reason - This nonprofit offers free professional housecleaning and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for cancer.

Corporate Angel Network - This is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help cancer patients access the best treatment centers in the United States by arranging free travel on corporate aircraft.

Gilda's Club South Jersey - With a mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community, southern New Jersey residents can go here for psychosocial support.

Imerman Angels - Through a unique matching process, this organization connects cancer fighters, survivors, previvors and caregivers to "Mentor Angels", cancer confidantes with similar stories and experiences. 

Joe's House - The mission of Joe's House is to be a housing resource for cancer patients and their families who must travel away from home for medical treatment.

Livestrong - Livestrong provides the practical information and tools people living with cancer need to live strong. You can find support services on the following topics: physical, emotional, practical, and diagnosis and treatment by cancer type.

Mary's Place by the Sea - Provides a respite for women with cancer to heal their minds, bodies and souls.

MedlinePlus: Living With Cancer - Developed by the National Library of Medicine, this consumer health site directs the user to selected online resources on many common diseases, conditions, and concerns. Information on financial issues and tips for working during treatment are just a few of the topics that can be found at this site.

National Adult Day Services Association - NADSA provides national resources for adult day services, including transportation, nursing care, personal care, rehabilitation therapies, meals and counseling.

National Cancer Institute: Coping with Cancer - This government site will provide you with a wealth of support information.

New Jersey Family Leave Act - This fact sheet will explain your rights if you need to take time off from work to care for a close family member.

New Jersey Self-Help Support Group Directory - Find a support group for many causes, like bereavement, health and mental health, from the Mental Health Association of New Jersey, which is funded by the New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services.
