About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology, Palliative Care section at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I received my medical degree from Saint George’s University. I completed internal medicine residency at Creighton University – Phoenix and followed with a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at University of Arizona – Phoenix.

My clinical work as an outpatient palliative medicine physician focuses on symptom management and clarifying goals of care in patients with serious illness. In addition to clinical and research work, I work with undergraduates, medical/NP/PA students, residents, and fellows. I am core faculty for the Rutgers hospice and palliative medicine physician fellowship program.

I live in NJ with my family and cat and enjoy running, hiking, and long evenings watching videos about cooking, hobbies, and home design.
