New Brunswick, N.J. – The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) Foundation has named Susan Wolford of Pennington as the newest member of its Board of Trustees. The CINJ Foundation is a non-profit, 501C-3 organization devoted to raising funds to support CINJ, which is a Center of Excellence of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. CINJ is New Jersey’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, an elite distinction held by only 40 centers in the country.
Wolford is the Managing Director and Sector Head of the BMO Capital Markets Business Services & Media Group. She has been an investment banker for more than 25 years, leading a wide variety of financing and merger and acquisition transactions across many industry groups. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets in 2001, Wolford was a senior investment banker at First Union and Kidder Peabody, working with a variety of educational and media services companies.
Wolford holds a master of international affairs from Columbia University where she was named an International Fellow, and a bachelor of arts with distinction from Villanova University. She has served on numerous boards and advisory councils of educational institutions and currently is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of Villanova School of Business and the Investment Committee of the Pennington School.
