Foundation for The Cancer Institute of New Jersey Expands Leadership Team

Longtime Investment Banker Named to Board of Trustees

New Brunswick, N.J.The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) Foundation has named Susan Wolford of Pennington as the newest member of its Board of Trustees. The CINJ Foundation is a non-profit, 501C-3 organization devoted to raising funds to support CINJ, which is a Center of Excellence of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. CINJ is New Jersey’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, an elite distinction held by only 40 centers in the country.

 

Wolford is the Managing Director and Sector Head of the BMO Capital Markets Business Services & Media Group. She has been an investment banker for more than 25 years, leading a wide variety of financing and merger and acquisition transactions across many industry groups. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets in 2001, Wolford was a senior investment banker at First Union and Kidder Peabody, working with a variety of educational and media services companies.

Wolford holds a master of international affairs from Columbia University where she was named an International Fellow, and a bachelor of arts with distinction from Villanova University. She has served on numerous boards and advisory councils of educational institutions and currently is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of Villanova School of Business and the Investment Committee of the Pennington School.
