I am privileged to be a part of the excellent team of providers caring for patients in the Gastrointestinal Oncology Program at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. I received my master's degree in nursing from Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, New Jersey and received post-masters Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. I first started my nursing career in the critical care unit then transitioned into oncology. I have been working in the oncology unit as an RN for four years, caring for patients undergoing treatment for a variety of cancers. Currently, I am a board-certified APN, a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and am fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
Our Advanced Practice Providers work in collaboration with the physicians in their respective oncology programs and may not always be scheduled directly.
