About Me

Nursing is all about providing good care to your patients. From the beginning, one of my passions is to provide the standard of care to all my patients.

I started off my career with a Bachelor’s of Science in Microbiology and worked as a microbiologist at Perth Amboy Medical Center for nearly seven years. Working as a microbiologist and sitting in a lab daily, I missed working with patients. I decided to change my career path to nursing. I received my diploma in nursing from Mercer County College in New Jersey and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Thomas Edison University. I went on to earn a Master’s of Science in Nursing specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. I have over a decade of nursing experience and bringing good care to my patients. During my nursing career, I gained experience in multiple fields including: telemetry, medical/surgical II, rehabilitation, pre-operative/intra-operative/post-operative.

Since 2019, I have focused on improving my nursing knowledge in oncology specializing in the field of radiation. Radiation oncology has grown over the decades and continues to change and improve. Working in this specialty I have enhanced my knowledge regarding the standards of care to better serve patients experiencing breast cancer and head and neck cancer.

I provide care to patients experiencing breast and head and neck cancer at all steps of their radiation treatment. My goal is to ensure my patients receive good, evidence-based care in collaboration with radiation oncologists, nurse coordinators, physicists, dietitians, social workers, and radiation therapists.

Our Advanced Practice Providers work in collaboration with the physicians in their respective oncology programs and may not always be scheduled directly.
