American Cancer Society: Melanoma - The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. American Academy of Dermatology - The information on this Web site comes from the nation's leading dermatology experts.  A wealth of information can be found at this site which includes over 60 pamphlets.

Melanoma Education Foundation - This nonprofit organization provides information on how to prevent melanoma and how to find it early.

Melanoma Patients' Information Page - The MPIP is the oldest and largest community of people affected by melanoma hosted through the Melanoma Research Foundation. It is designed to provide support and information to caregivers, patients, family and friends.

National Cancer Institute: Melanoma - The NCI, established under the National Cancer Act of 1937, is the Federal Government's principal agency for cancer research and training.  Here you will find information on prevention, treatment, and clinical trials.

NIH Senior Health: Skin Cancer - This government site makes aging-related health information easily accessible. A talking function reads the text aloud and there are buttons to enlarge or enhance the text.

Siteman Cancer Center: Your Disease Risk - This interactive tool estimates your risk of cancer and provides personalized tips for prevention.  Simply choose melanoma from the menu and answer some questions to find out your risk.

Skin Cancer Foundation: Melanoma - The Foundation's mission is to decrease the incidence of the disease by means of public and professional education, medical training, and research.  Articles on the warning signs, types, stages, and treatment of melanoma can be found at this site.

SkinCancerNet - This site was developed by the American Academy of Dermatology specifically for patients and health professionals to use as a resource for up-to-date information on the treatment and management of skin diseases.
