• Medical Image Analysis, Physics-Based Modeling and Simulation, Computer Graphics and Animation, Computational Vision, Biometrics and Security Applications, Scientific Visualization. Special emphasis on physics-based modeling for shape and motion estimation of rigid, articulated and flexible objects, image segmentation, real-time animation and control of articulated figures, fluid simulations, heart motion analysis, minimally invasive surgery, tissue property modeling and the modeling of the anatomy and physiology of internal organs.
