Location

The Transgenic/Knock-out Mouse Shared Resource is located in the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) Building and the adjacent New Research Building on the Piscataway campus, which are connected by an indoor passageway. Bhaumik’s office and laboratory space are located within the CABM building, while the microinjection suite and mouse holding rooms are located within the state-of-the-art barrier facility in the basement of the New Research Building.

Mice generated by the Transgenic/Knock-out mouse Shared Resource are distributed to other facilities used by CINJ investigators, which include the conventional and small barrier facilities in the basement of the RWJMS Research Tower. On the New Brunswick campus, an existing conventional facility at the Medical Education Building (MEB) is complemented by a small satellite facility in the new Cancer Institute addition as well as by a large barrier facility within the Child Health Institute of New Jersey.
