Overall Goals:

The Clinical Investigations Program is structured to encourage and promote maximum scientific interactions among clinical, population and laboratory investigators, and provides a platform to facilitate rapid movement of laboratory discoveries into clinical trials.

Specific Aims:

To develop and validate therapeutic approaches targeting oncogenic tumor cell survival and proliferation mechanisms.
To develop therapeutic approaches that modulate cancer mechanisms of stress sensitivity and resistance.
To develop therapeutic approaches that target the microenvironment and immune surveillance.
To develop approaches to determine, calibrate, and validate biological activity and biomarkers of therapeutic approaches and preventive therapeutics.
