Overall Goals:

The Cancer Pharmacology and Preclinical Therapeutics Program is a basic science Program that unites investigators with broad scientific expertise who share a strong interest in cancer pharmacology and preclinical drug development to create more effective cancer treatments.

Specific Aims:

• To discover, design, and develop new anticancer agents.
• To determine the mode of action of and the mechanism of resistance to anticancer agents.
• To develop novel concepts and strategies for cancer treatment.
