The Biospecimen Repository essential processing and storage equipment includes the following:

• Three (3) -80 upright freezers with deluxe electronic remote alarms
• -20 freezer
• Six (6) Liquid nitrogen storage units
• Four (4) portable liquid nitrogen flasks
• Portable dry ice cooler
• Refrigerator
• Two (2) biosafety cabinets
• Three (3) tabletop centrifuges
• Microfuge
• TMA storage cabinet
• Glass slide and paraffin block storage cabinets
• Data entry stations, including seven (7) computers, three (3) barcode stations, faxes, printers, labelers

Equipment shared with the Histology and Imaging Shared Resource includes the following:

• Sakura VIP 5-tissue processor
• Tissue Tek embedding center
• Sakura DRS slide stainer
• Sakura SCA film coverslipper
• Three (3) Leica/Reichert-Jung paraffin microtomes
• Two (2) Leica/Reichert-Jung cryostats
