Physician Profile

I have been at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) since 2004, after completing a fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, which was preceded by a residency at Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Working closely with experts across multi-disciplines in the Dean and Betty Gallo Prostate Cancer Center and the Urologic Oncology Program, including radiation and surgical oncologists, nurses and social workers, I provide patients with a comprehensive evaluation and help educate them about their disease so that they can make informed decisions about their treatment options.
Some of these options may include clinical trials. As a member of the Phase I/Investigational Therapeutics Program, I have the opportunity to conduct research on new drugs and compounds to see how they impact current cancer treatments and see if they can be applied toward new therapies. While I have clinical expertise in prostate, kidney, bladder and testis cancers, my research interest is in investigational drugs and how they affect all solid tumors.
I am the author or co-author of more than 20 publications and serve on the editorial board of HemOnc Today. As a member of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, Genitourinary Committee and Prostate Cancer Clinical Trial Consortium I help develop clinical trials with novel agents and answer clinical trials in prostate cancer on a national level.
