I completed a residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati (CHMCC) and sub-specialty training in pediatric hematology/oncology and neuro-oncology at CHMCC, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and the National Cancer Institute. My clinical focus is the treatment of pediatric patients with cancers of the brain and spinal cord.

My  research explores the interaction between cancer cells and the surrounding normal cells.  I have authored more than 20 publications and serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey employs a multi-disciplinary approach in the treatment of our patients.  The team is made up of counselors, nurses, teachers, and pharmacists with a focus on the care of children with cancer as well as a team of physicians with a broad range of clinical expertise including pediatric oncologists, radiation oncologists and pediatric surgeons.
